What Real TDEE stores
When you create an account, Real TDEE stores your name, email address, and authentication records. To provide the app, it also stores the profile and goal details you submit, calorie plans, food logs, weight observations, learned expenditure estimates, weekly reviews, recommendations, and decisions.
How the data is used
Your food and weight history is used to calculate the private projections shown in your account. Provider searches may send the food search term or barcode you enter to USDA FoodData Central or Open Food Facts. Real TDEE does not send your profile, weight, or diary history to those food providers.
Analytics and camera data
V1 does not install a third-party tracking SDK. Product events stay in the browser unless a future analytics service is explicitly introduced. Barcode camera frames are processed in your browser and are not uploaded; only the decoded barcode is sent to the Real TDEE server for food lookup.
Storage and control
Application data is stored in Cloudflare D1 and authentication is handled by Better Auth. Food and weight corrections preserve history so the app can maintain an auditable model lineage. Account export and deletion workflows are not self-service in V1 and must be handled by the service owner before public launch.
Health information
Real TDEE is an informational tool, not a medical service. Do not use it for emergency, diagnostic, or medical-treatment decisions.
